Bunk beds suit so many situations that they really are a perfect choice for kids, especially if you want to save space. The choice on offer is bewildering with so many similar styles, it’s hard to know which is the best?
The simple answer is that the best bunk beds are the ones you can afford at the time and you shouldn’t stress too much about it as there isn’t that much difference from one option to another.
As a rule of thumb, metal frame beds tend to be the cheapest and contemporary styles are often the most expensive. In between, you’ll find solid wood beds that can be split into two singles offer the best value overall. Also, bear in mind that bunk beds are not normally supplied with mattresses and this can almost double the cost.
